Jenny Elliott is a mom to a 4-year-old son, has been married to her husband for 8 years and has had a career in Corporate America, at a Fortune 100 company, for over a decade. After Jenny had her son, she was unprepared for the identity crisis she experienced when she returned to work. It was that experience that led to her podcast, Career Mom, where she has conversations with working moms about the joys and challenges of raising children while juggling a career.
Her mission is helping women navigate the identity shift of working motherhood to be a great mom with a fulfilling career.
Jenny and I have a fun, heartfelt conversation discussing our struggles with returning to our Corporate jobs after our children were born. We dig deep into our career identity shift struggles, how unprepared we were to understand it & overcome it. As well as things we would have done differently & wished we knew before hand in the early stages of motherhood. We also discuss channeling our mom guilt, being open and vulnerable about our experiences & struggles to help other mothers, and so much more!
