Dr. Carline Crevecoeur is a Haitian American board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, a wife, and a mother of five adult children. However, after several years of medical service in New York and Pennsylvania, Carline gave up her career to raise and homeschool her five African American children. Her homeschool journey is told in her new memoir: Pressure Makes Diamonds: From Homeschooling to the Ivy League – A Parenting Story.

She has volunteered on education boards such as WPSU, a local public radio, and NAAHP (National Assoc. for the Advancement of Haitian Professionals) and sponsored many public health programs.
