May 13, 2021

Chef Kristiahna Clark is the owner of Platinum Desserts, and the author of the cookbook "Let's Say Grace." She is a graduate of Scottsdale Culinary Institute, Le Cordon Bleu, and has been in the industry for over 20 years! She is also a dedicated and loving mother to 2 amazing young women.

Her passion is teaching people how to cook and sharing her food knowledge with the world! She believes that love can be tasted in every bite so it should be the main ingredient. Kristiahna is also the founder of Brown Girls Cook, which was born out of a need for a place where there is room for all brown girls to have a seat at the table. She wanted a space for women of color to shine, and share their culinary creativity. Brown Girls Cook is all about celebrating and highlighting one another in the culinary world! They share recipes, food products, the latest food news to stay-up-to-date with what's happening with brown girls all over the world and most importantly they support and cheer each other on!

On this episode we discuss where her love of cooking came from, the importance of believing in yourself, checking in with your children, charging your worth, the future of Brown Girls Cook, revamping her YouTube page and advice for entrepreneurs.
