Monique Rodriguez, AP, Dipl. Ac. is a board-certified (NCCAOM) and licensed acupuncture physician and founder of Five Element Wellness Center in Coral Springs and Weston. She also holds a certification in injection therapy and is licensed as a primary care physician in the State of Florida. Monique graduated from the Academy of Five Element Acupuncture in Gainesville, Florida, with her graduate degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in molecular biology from Florida Atlantic University (FAU).

She is also a PhD candidate at Pacific College of Health and Sciences in San Diego, completing her specialization in pain management with concentration in neurological disorders. Monique’s philosophical approach to treatment includes patient education, lifestyle changes, and herbal medicine. She has over 18 years of clinical experience and is very comfortable within both Western and Eastern medical paradigms. Her focus has been on treating neurological disorders, chronic pain, sports injuries, and infertility by incorporating the time-tested science of Acupuncture with cutting edge, innovative medical solutions. 

Monique is originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and has called South Florida home for over 31 years. She is also a wife, entrepreneur, mom of four and grandmother of 2.  When away from the clinics, she enjoys spending time with the family, watching her kids’ play sports or can be found passionately planning her next trip.
